This webinar covered our updated and expanded Protocol, which helps companies navigate climate claims, and our new Climate Impact Partners Dashboard, which equips companies to be transparent in meeting evolving expectations and requirements.
2023 saw the passing of California’s Voluntary Carbon Market Disclosures Bill, an EU Directive on Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition, and the launch of the Voluntary Carbon Market Integrity Initiative (VCMI)’s Claims Code of Practice.
Climate Impact Partners welcomes the role of this guidance and regulation. It drives quality and creates trust to enable ever greater financial flows to climate solutions. But we do recognise that new guidance, labels and regulations take time to understand and can lead to confusion in an already complicated landscape.
That’s why we are cutting through the noise and have launched two new tools to help companies navigate the options and equip them to be transparent in meeting guidance and requirements.
The webinar includes a detailed run-through of:
- The Climate Action Protocol: An updated and expanded Protocol to help companies navigate the leading certifications and frameworks. These include: ISO’s forthcoming 14068 Standard for Carbon Neutrality, ISO’s Net Zero Guidelines, VCMI’s Carbon Integrity marks, and the Science-Based Target initiative’s Net Zero Standard, as well as the updated requirements of CarbonNeutral® certification.
- A new Climate Impact Partners Dashboard to equip companies to be transparent in meeting evolving expectations and requirements. The digital platform provides live data about carbon credit and EAC purchases, including project and retirement information.
These new services will help companies navigate the options and evidence their financing of climate solutions.
