Come meet the team, explore solutions, and discover opportunities to collaborate.
Panel Discussion: The Voluntary Carbon Market 2.0: Turning point or tipping point? What will unlock the next wave of demand?
The voluntary carbon market has undergone an integrity overhaul, with significant investment in standards, ratings, claims, methodologies, transparency, and new quality benchmarks. But while the market’s infrastructure has evolved, demand has yet to grow at the scale many anticipated. This session will examine what could bring the next generation of corporate buyers into the market and what signals would show that a genuine shift in demand is underway. Speakers will explore whether stronger integrity and a compelling business case are enough to drive voluntary participation, or whether the real catalyst will come from external pressures, including CORSIA, Article 6, and approaching 2030 and 2035 corporate climate targets. What will it take to turn growing corporate interest into meaningful demand for high-integrity carbon credits
Moderator: Kristen Linscott, CPA, Verra
Panelists: Lindy Fursman (The Coalition to Grow Carbon Markets), Tommy Ricketts (BeZero Carbon), Mo Safdar (Head of Origination, Climate Impact Partners)
