Their climate strategy is built on three core pillars: Measure, Reduce, and Eliminate residual emissions through credible, high-quality carbon projects.

This approach enables Trainline to deliver credible near-term climate action while progressing long-term emissions reductions, and to engage customers and stakeholders through compelling, purpose-aligned storytelling. 

Through the partnership, Trainline selected a set of high-quality carbon projects, including the BasiGo Electric Bus project in Kenya – chosen for its strong alignment with Trainline’s vision of shifting travellers toward cleaner modes of transport. Just as Trainline encourages rail over road, BasiGo supports the transition from diesel buses to electric mobility, reinforcing Trainline’s sustainability narrative across new geographies.
