Find the right path for your business

There is no single route to corporate climate action.

The claims you can make, the frameworks you choose to follow and the role carbon credits can play will depend on your climate targets, business model, geography, regulatory environment and ambitions.

Our experts help you make sense of the options and build an approach that works for your business - now and as expectations evolve.

From SBTi and VCMI to ISO standards and our own established certifications, we help you understand what different approaches require, how they fit together and what they mean in practice.

Turn complexity into a clear plan

We start with your business, not a particular framework. We look at your climate strategy and targets, emissions profile, existing commitments, markets, stakeholder expectations and the claims you want to make.

We then help you assess the relevant standards, guidance and recommend a practical path forward.

Plan for today - and future proof for what comes next

Climate frameworks are evolving - SBTi's Corporate Net-Zero Standard is moving into its next generation with V2.0 giving formal recognition for companies using carbon credits, and requiring their use from 2035.

Frameworks including VCMI continue to develop guidance on how companies can use high-quality carbon credits alongside direct decarbonisation, while the ISO Standards provides further principles and requirements around net zero and carbon neutrality.

We help you understand what is required today, and build an approach that can adapt over time. That includes planning for changing requirements around carbon credit quality and the increasing role of removals on the journey to net zero.

Tell a stronger climate story

The credits you use are only as strong as the projects behind them.

Choosing projects you can trust gives you more than tonnes of carbon. It gives you a credible story about the action your business is supporting.

We help you build portfolios that can demonstrate impact across climate, nature and communities - backed by projects we understand and can stand behind.

Our project expertise, due diligence and on-the-ground relationships help you communicate with greater confidence, while our communications team can support you to explain your actions internally and externally.

Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
Understand how carbon credits and removals can sit alongside your science-based targets and plan for evolving net-zero requirements.
Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative (VCMI)
Explore high-integrity approaches to using and communicating the role of carbon credits alongside emissions reductions, including VCMI's Carbon Integrity Claims and Scope 3 Action Code of Practice.
ISO standards and guidance
Understand relevant international guidance and standards, including approaches to net zero and carbon neutrality. ISO's Net Zero Guidelines establish common principles for credible net-zero action, while ISO 14068 sets requirements around achieving and demonstrating carbon neutrality.
