Our ESG approach

Our greatest impact comes from helping businesses take credible climate action. But we believe our responsibility goes further.
We are committed to reducing our own environmental footprint, operating responsibly and helping to build a high-integrity carbon market that can deliver lasting impact for people and the planet.

We are committed to reducing our own greenhouse gas emissions in line with science-based targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Our targets include achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, with near-term reductions by 2030 aligned with limiting global temperature rise to 1.5°C.
Business travel represents a significant proportion of our emissions, making it a priority for action alongside reducing our direct emissions and maintaining our commitment to renewable electricity.
Near-term targets are for 2030, against our financial year ending 31 March 2024 baseline.
Scope 1 emissions reduction
Business travel emissions reduction per FTE
Renewable electricity procurement to maintain zero market-based Scope 2 emissions
Net-zero emissions target

We are on track to achieve our near-term Scope 3 reduction goals, while recognizing that further progress is needed to meet our Scope 1 target.
We continue to monitor our performance and take action to reduce emissions across our operations.

We helped establish the voluntary carbon market and continue to play an active role in shaping its future.
Our experts work across the market to strengthen quality standards, improve transparency and advance credible approaches to corporate climate action.
By bringing together technical expertise, project development experience and direct client insight, we help ensure that emerging frameworks are not only robust, but practical to implement - creating the conditions for credible climate action to scale.

We believe credible climate action starts with accountability.
We report on our environmental performance, progress against our commitments and the wider impact of our work, sharing both our achievements and where further progress is needed.
